Osteopathy
Targeted mobilisation and manipulation address blockages, loss of mobility and tension – frequently involved in pain and wear. The three areas:
- parietal – joints, muscles, tendons, fasciae
- visceral – organs, adhesions, scars
- cranio-sacral – skull, meninges, sacrum
Targeted, brief, precise
Chiropractic
Short, precise impulses on the spine and joints – what many know as an adjustment, technically HVLA (High Velocity, Low Amplitude).
For me, chiropractic is one tool within the osteopathic treatment: after a thorough examination, and only when the findings call for it. Where a gentler approach achieves the same, I take the gentler one.
Chinese medicine
Acupuncture
In Chinese medicine a network of meridians runs through the body, carrying the Qi with its aspects Yin and Yang. Balance stands for health; imbalance shows in physical and mental symptoms.
Acupuncture works on the regulation of the nervous system – which is why it is often an important part of treatment.
Every treatment begins with the examination – the technique follows the findings.

About me
Medicine, sport and athletics have been with me since family and school days; an exchange year at an American sports school set the course. After civilian service in an orthopaedic hospital came the state examination at Germany’s oldest school of physiotherapy, osteopathy studies at the Academy of Osteopathy and Naturopathy under Dr. Edgar Hinkelthein, and acupuncture training under Franz Thews.
For more than 20 years I have worked hands-on with people – first in competitive sport and athletics, today as an osteopath and manual medicine practitioner for people of all ages. Every treatment begins with the examination – the technique follows the findings.

The right therapy
Typical are pains of the musculoskeletal system – back, neck, knee, shoulder. Also headaches, migraine, numbness or digestive complaints when a functional disorder is behind them.
Together we classify your problem and choose the right approach. I treat infants and children as well as adults and seniors.
